  • Medical Payments
  • Custom Parts and Equipment [CPE]
  • Roadside Assistance

Bodily Injury and Property Damage Liability, covers your legal liability for an accident where there is injury to another party or damage to someone's property. For example, 15/30/10 means that your motorcycle insurance will cover:

  • no more than $15,000 would be paid per person for Bodily Injury
  • no more than $30,000 would be paid per accident for Bodily Injury
  • no more than $10,000 would be paid per accident for Property Damage

Comprehensive and Collision Coverage: Your motorcycle insurance covers the cost to repair or replace your motorcycle if it is stolen or damaged in an accident, regardless of who is at fault. You select a deductible for each coverage, and once the deductible is met, the motorcycle insurance company pays for the remaining damage.

With Collision Coverage, your motorcycle insurance company pays for damage to your vehicle when you collide with another vehicle or object.

Under Comprehensive Coverage, your motorcycle insurance company pays for damage to your vehicle caused by an event other than a collision, such as fire, theft or vandalism.

Uninsured /Underinsured Motorist: When the at-fault party does not have insurance, Uninsured Motorists Bodily Injury will cover damages you incur that the at-fault party is legally liable for, such as medical treament and lost wages. Underinsured Motorist Bodily Injury Coverage will pay for the amount not covered by the at-fault person's insurance. Similar to Uninsured Motorists coverage, Underinsured Motorists coverage is designed to cover the gap between the other person's liability limits and the amount of your injury expenses, up to the Underinsured Motorist limits you select. Uninsured Motorist Property Damage covers your vehicle when someone who does not have insurance causes damage.

Medical Payments coverage pays the cost of necessary medical care as a result of a motorcycle accident and can be used regardless of who is at fault. In some states it only applies after other medical insurance is first exhausted.

Custom Parts and Equipment [CPE]: When Physical Damage Liability coverage (Comprehensive or Collision coverage) is purchased at least $1,000 of Custom Parts and Equipment (CPE) coverage is included in most states. Additional CPE coverage can be purchased to cover equipment up to $30,000 in value. CPE covers:

  • equipment, antennas and other devices.
  • sidecars
  • trailers
  • trike conversion kits
  • custom paint, plating or exhaust
  • mower blades, plow blades or winches
  • saftey riding apparel, including helmets. (Coverage is provided in the event of an Collision loss. Theft is not covered.)

ATV Coverages

Whether you are a hunter, back-woods rider or a rancher you can protect your investment. If your ATV is stolen or badly damaged, you can find help for repairs or replacement through your motorcycle insurance coverages.

Many states require ATV Insurance for vehicles operated on state-owned properties. Your homeowners policy might not cover you unless you are on your own land. That is why ATV insurance is especially important. Check out our sponsored sites for prices.

  • Comprehensive Coverages
  • Collision Coverages
  • Liability Coverages
  • Uninsured and underinsured Coverages

  • Comprehensive covers you due to theft, fire, vandalism or other similar damages. You can choose coverage and deductibles that are right for your situation.
  • Collision covers significant physical damage to your ATV if you hit another ATV, a tree, a parked vehicle, a boulder or an obstacle. Most coverages, due to the rough nature in which many ATVs are used, collision will cover. Coverage does not provide for scrapes, scratches, minor dents or cosmetic damages.
  • Liability covers damage you have done to people or property and protects your assets, and you set the limits.
  • Uninsured and Underinsured coverage protects you if another rider causes damage to you or your vehicle and he has inadequate coverage.
